SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Responsibilities:

Software development using Agile methodology.
- Database design and management.

Collaboration with engineering team in Seattle and U.K.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Degree in Information Systems / Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in web software development.
- Minimum 5 years experience in overall software development.

Strong working knowledge with Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation.
- Demonstrated ability in designing complex database-oriented backend application systems.
- Competent working with MySQL and writing effective and complex queries

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Expertise in one of the following development environments is required
- Java / JSP / PHP
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is helpful!
- Comfortable working with at least one dynamically typed scripting language like Ruby, Python, Perl or Smalltalk.

Knowledge in the following areas will be a plus:
- Photoshop, Dreamweaver
- Linux O/S administration
- Network management

Self Starter, without much direct supervision
- Independent, Autonomous and Result-oriented work ethics

Excellent judgment, problem solving and analytical abilities
- Full Time, to be based in Petaling Jaya
