I found a surplus (2/3 of a gross) of new glass for magic lantern slides.

I was thinking of using it to make tiny greenhouses or something, but thought it may see better use than that through here.  If I'm not mistaken, these should be optically clear as well as heat resistant, but I could very well be mistaken).  They've been in their original shipping box, with the lid open (!?) so have gathered dust.

If any of you can use them, let me know.  I'd like to see them put to a good use - and I'll just be using 5 at a time for each little greenhouse, so they won't go fast.

Hmm...I wonder if they can be laser-cut/engraved?  (for those of you who haven't tried it, take some of your engraved acrylic scrap and shine a laser through it - has me thinking of ways of making 'mini' lamps that project all over.

If I can make a suggestion, Camera-Traders, run by my friend Anthony, in Market Square, might have a use for these. Feel free to tell him I sent you.

They can be reached at in...@camera-traders.com...

Mind bringing a half dozen to the makerspace?
I've got some ideas... most related to lasers.

Nope, I'll bring a bunch out next time I'm there.
