Here is a silly money making idea that you might use at a trade show.

A closed box with a reset button accepts coins through a slot.  If a certain combination of change is provided, the box opens.

You would use it at a trade show with some signage as a fund raiser.  If someone gets it open, they keep the money inside it.

You may restrict the types of coins that should go in, eg dimes and quarters, and have a maximum number of coins in the sequence, and maybe split the box if someone gets it.

Easy to make with an arduino and a couple of 3D printered, or laser cut parts, I'm sure.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a slot machine, albeit one with an unusual interface.. As such, I think you'd find the operation of such heavily regulated.
