Open Hours Saturday 4/27

I created a Meetup event yesterday, but never notified the mailing list. Better fix that ;-)

We're having open hours tomorrow from noon until ?? to work on various and sundry projects, including:
-the LaunchHouse chicken coop
-the 3D printer (the X-carriage we need has been printed(!), though LM8UU bearings won't arrive until Monday, I think)
-the CNC machine?
-other stuff?

Re: the LaunchHouse Chicken Coop project: It is currently being headed up by volunteer architect Paul Sweeny, who is currently tasked with the overall design and is in charge of the construction job site, starting with the hoop structure on Saturday. Dar is the primary contact on behalf of LaunchHouse and has the final say as the client. 

I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware to avoid any confusion or duplication of effort and also to allow a smooth, coordinated effort on Saturday. 

I am putting together information on the chickens' requirements and needs for design input and long-term care planning. 

The chickens are growing fast and need a home that will suit them year-round, along with a collaborative effort in their care and maintenance of the habitat. All volunteers, skills, experience levels are welcome to take their part. :)
