Slic3r settings for Mosaic
|
| |
For those that have requested them, below is my config.ini. (One of
the nice things about Slic3r is that there is so little to configure!)
Now, I'm not saying it's the be-all end-all, drop Skeinforge/SFACT and
run, but it does work really well in some situations, and Sound (on
IRC) is very good about taking bug reports on github and addressing... more »

Heated Bed Power control
|
| |
Hi, I may seem to be slightly obsessive about the temperature control on the M2 heated bed but I come from a background of high performance controllers and electronics systems. Anyway, I thought the temperature control was PID but having tested my Rambo board it is a straightforward on/off controller with a huge... more »

Over-cured ceramic on HeatCore?
|
| |
Hi, I'm sorry for posting such a silly question but I feel pretty lost about how this is supposed to work. I am building the HeatCore for a MakerGear Prusa Mendel. I finished the step of adding the ceramic around the core to cover the wires and let it sit overnight ... only that I couldn't get back to it on the next day or... more »

M2 Bed heater power
|
| |
Hi, I have tried printing ABS and started with a bed temperature of 100C. We are in the middle (almost) of the English Summer so the room where the M2 lives was a sultry 13C and it took 45 minutes to reach 100C and the ABS did not stick to the bed (Hair lacquer technique). Reading the forums there are posts suggesting that 108C works well so I upped the bed... more »
