M2 won't feeding the extruder

First print time avery thing heats and moves like its printing but the extruder motor won't feed.

 

First shut down and swapped Z and Feed connectors, to test card and motor.   Pressed Z buttons and the feed motor turned, then pressed extruder button and the platform moved.  So shutdown and swapped back leads and the feeder will still not feed the line into the extruder.

I had a similar issue - the adjustment screw was too tight. FYI.

There are two motor connectors for the z-axis, so you can run two motors together like most reprap machnes. Make sure you plugged the extruder motor into the connector marked E0, so you'll have any empty connector between the z and the extruder.  You may be running the z and extruder together but not seen any turning of the extruder due to the gearing of the extruder and the slow moving z axis

The only time it turned was when I changed port to the Z port on the RAMBo mother board.   The adjustment screw is loose as heck for now till I get it to move on it's own wireing port.

When you're testing this, is the hotend hot?  The firmware prevents extrusion attempts if the temperature is below a certain threshold - 170, I believe, in our firmware.

Loosened everything and tested (NO-GO) so swaped "EXT" plug on RAMBo card with z axies then bumped the Z axies on the software and the extruder turned. So I guess the RAMBo extruder port is not working.

Figured it out!  But yes every thing was up to temp! and when plugged into the Z axies for testing when I bumpped the Z axies I got plastice to extrude.

bumped or jogged, To press the software button that sends the signal to the RAMBo card to move the printing platform (0.1, 1, 10, or 100) steps in the direction indacated.

 

In my case I switch the wiring from the extruder to the Z axes electrical port then opened the software and press the Z 1 step button and observed the extruder splined drive rotate.  Warning this will drive the filament even if you extruder is not up to tempature, so make sure your extruder is up to tempature before you try this.
