I'm forwarding this email we received in case you are interested in participating.

----

I am a researcher in the Michigan Tech Open Sustainability Technology (MOST) Research Group and I am working on a project involving tensile testing 3D printed parts. Our group is seeking the help of the open-source 3D printing community to contribute to the project. I know of your excellent work with creating 3D printers and I thought you might be interested in being involved with the project. We are assessing the material properties of tensile test specimens made using open-source 3D printers to expand the ability of open-source printing to be able to engineer parts based on the properties of the material. Participants will receive a donation letter from Michigan Tech, which you can use to offset U.S. taxes. Please see attached letter and form for more information.

Would you be interested in participating?

Sincerely,

Megan Kreiger

I actually saw the post on thingiverse a couple of (weeks|months) ago.  I'll do it if you want me to; it sounds interesting.

I could possibly do these for you too, and I'm in Grand Rapids MI.
Just email me directly.

Nevermind, I see it was Rick that posted this. I'll email the originator.
