Hi Guys

On a makergear Prusa Mendel Ramps1.4 : Does anyone know how to do the
opposite of an M84 command. (M84 Stop Idle Hold)

I.E. I want to manually hold the motor in a stationary position.

If i Manually enter G Code to move the motor, it'll move then stop but
doesn't hold

Whereas on Gen 6 and Sangilolou boards with the same firmware setup
etc, the motor is held post movement by default

Many thanks in advance

Matt

you must be talking about the z-axis only?

there are toggle settings in Marlin firmware to change this behavior
for each axis.

are you using marlin?
