I think there's a couple of you around.  I'm in southeastern Mass.  Any interest in in getting together sometime to exchange info, etc.?

I'll be moving to the Boston area in a month. I'd be interested in a meetup.

Feel free to email me and we can figure it out then.  I'm ~50 miles south of Boston but there's got to be others with Mosaics/M2s within driving distance of Boston or Providence.  I'm a member of the AS220 FabLab in Providence and they have a monthly meeting for 3D printing enthusiasts (see: www.3dppvd.org).  Nice people.  Maybe we could hook up there?  There's also plenty of very knowledgeable people in the Boston area.  I don't know how many Mosaic/M2 users though.

Cool, we haven't bought a house yet, so I don't know where I'll be exactly. Would be great to check out as many fablabs as I can find. Our local hackerspace in burlington is pretty software focused. Not many hardware geeks like me.

Will look you up when I get settled.

If you wind up in the Burlington, MA area instead of VT, there's a makerspace that just missed Rick and his M2. They'd love to see one!

I remember there was almost a meet up when Rick and Josh were here.  After June 15 I available any weeknight.  Sat/Sun would be better though.

OK cool, Iooks like I'll be in Waltham in temp housing for two months. My wife's aunt lives on the same street in Somerville as Artisan's Asylum, will be checking that out as well. I'm sure I could toss the M2 in the back of my Subie and meet the crew in Burlington (MA). The wife is interested in house shopping in Winchester, so that might be close by. Although just between you, me, and the internet, I don't think it's wise for me to live that close to a LEGO store.

Will keep you posted, right now I'm focused on dismantling my shop and making sure it survives the move.

Eggselent.  After mid June my night class ends and I'm also freer for a meet up.  I'd also like to visit Artisan's Asylum.  You might want to check out <thesprouts.org>.  They also do interesting stuff.

I guess I missed this thread. I am in Providence RI, with an M2. I have been interested in meeting up with the AS220 hackerspace, so maybe that is a good place for a get together.

Cheers,
Alex

After June 17 I should be good most weeknights/weekends. Looks like we have to figure out some location we can all get to.  I'm a member at AS220 in Providence and they have a monthly 3D printing meet up.

I am mostly in Amherst and have a 3D printer Meetup group.  Occasionally, I also make my way out to Sharon.  I'm new at this (I have an M2) but have had success so far.  Please feel free to contact me or let me know if you want to try to get together.

My night class is over.  Any night should be good for me.  I can get to Prov/Boston easily.

Well, I've moved and am now in Waltham. Who's up for a get-together? I can bring my M2. When's the next 3D printer meetup at AS220?

Do you know what Burlington MA group Matt Minuti was refering to? All I can find are kids STEM spaces.

I found H3XL which now seems to be "einsteinsworkshop".  I don't know if that's what he meant.  Looks nice though.

Wow, good internet sleuthing, guys! Einstein's Workshop, formerly H3XL, is the place - I work there.

Jeff Keegan's organizing a New England RepRap meetup in July, and there's a chance it'll get transplanted from his kitchen to my shop for space reasons. I'll let everyone know once I know more.

I am in Austin at a Python conference, I could meet sunday of this weekend if it's in PVD. Otherwise the 10th might be good?

I went to the Southcoast Innovators Lab <scilspace.com> mtg in Raynham, MA.  Nice people.  They (now we) are working on getting members and a permanent space in the Taunton/Fall River area.  The next meeting is 8/28 if anyone's interested.
