Try slightly separating RAMPS from Arduino , then re-seating.  Make sure ALL power sources are off.

I've been using the printer 4 about 2 month . .  testing, goofing around with it and of course printing.

 

But the last 4 days - I havn't been able to connect to the printer. I have tried the following

 

1. Switching USB cable - not working

2. reinstalling arduino software - not workning

3. reinstalling USB drivers (FTDI) - not workning

4. switching off the power supply(ATX) - then I have connection to the arduino - powering on the ATX - then I loose the connection !!!!???

5. Jumping back and forth in the device manager - checking the com ports  - not working

6. checking connection via arduni software - able when ATX is shut off - When powered on arduino software claims comX is bloked !?

 

Any hints ???
