T.O.M. LCD Interface needed

Hello,

Nubee here... just bought a T.O.M. kit from the re-release and i need
to purchase an LCD interface kit or built. makerbot does not have them
anymore.
looking forward to alot of fun with the machine, i build scale RC
airplanes and jets and use Pro-Engineer 3D software at work, so
printing out small parts and such will be great!
hope someone has one available!

It's pretty trivial to build .. the schematic is in the wiki, there
are a few designs in thingiverse for cabinets, etc. If you can solder
and manage hand tools you can build one!

If you want a 'real' one, I believe there's a guy on ebay selling them
for $100-ish ...

They are pretty easy to build. I was able to use a prototype board and just solder everything that way with no problems. Depends on if you want an enclosure or want to make your own. I made mine to a size just smaller than the maximum TOM build area so I could print a one piece enclosure. I got all my parts from Digikey. I customized a few things like the led's to make them surface mount and used light pipes.

i have tried finding the schematics on the wiki, it says that the page
has moved to the main makerbot site, but clicking on the link reveals
its broken.
i have no problem building one, sounds fun and i can handle the
prototype board work, etc.
can someone point me to the schematic? and a parts list would be
great, as i would need help selecting the display itself. i think the
rest is just switches, resistors and LED's.
otherwise...Joseph, ill get one from/with you.

It is all on thingiverse. I sourced everything. I don't remember the
tags probably gen4. Look for themakerguy things.
