I'm just now configuring my SF50 settings for my Jetty MK8 TOM.

To save me and others time, does anybody have a working profile for MK6,7,8 TOM?

I'll post my results when I create a suitable profile. I have a really good one for SF35 and will try to port most of my settings over.

Also if anybody has Miracle Grue profile working, please share. I've had a chance to play with it for a while but have not attempted to print yet.

Thanks!

Any progress on this?

Since MBI considers printers they sold 6 months ago to be "legacy" products perhaps the community should create a repository of profiles that are kept up to date? I have a really hard time finding good profiles for ToM.

Tony Buser's github is a good spot to start with but honestly you'll
have to adjust every time you switch filament. You should really tune
your own profile to your machine and liking.

I may be putting words in his mouth, but I think Tom is looking for a starting point to tune from... as am I. I'd love to use something newer than SF35 (I mean, the latest, hopefully for-the-better version is 15 revisions newer!), but there are zero profiles to start from for a ToM. Even harder for a ToM with a Mk6+ with 3mm filament.

Looking at the Miracle Grue profile code from "edit profile", there are comments about what to edit for a ToM, but changing those and going to print just throws errors. There's apparently _some thought_ from MBI about older machines, just nothing that seemingly works.

Give me a starting point and I'll take it from there. :-)

If you're using skeinforge standalone, just download & run 40, 45 then 50. It's pretty good at moving settings forward through releases. Or maybe take a quick look through the past 18 months of Enrique's blog at http://fabmetheus.blogspot.com/ for which ones had big changes and just give them a quick download & run to move the settings forward. Yeah, it's a pain but won't take you very long..
