Zoom in a bit, then click "Edit" on the left-hand side.
You should see an "Add a placemark" icon (looks like a little push-pin) =
appear in the upper-left corner of the map.
Click it and drop your pin where you want it, then add details to the =
marker as you see fit.
When you're done, click "Done" over where the "Edit" button used to be.
