Are both steptruders on replicator heated?

After 1 week of wrestling with the Replicator, I'm finally making my first print! Yay!

Anyways, I am printing something that only requires one color plastic. However, I noticed that the Replicator's LCD display says that both steptruders are heated. Is this normal? Will it damage my machine? Did I do something wrong? If so, what?

Thanks for all the help, guys. I wouldn't have been able to do my first print without you. It is printing right now, so I have my fingers crossed....

I kinda feel like a child again. This Replicator kinda reminds my of my childhood days fooling around with an Apple I. This Makerbot even has wood furniture, just like the original Apple computer that I had.

As I learn more, I will answer some of the other noobs questions to give back to the community a little.
