Re-level the platform so that it is closer to the extruder nozzle (my first
layer is usually a little bit 'smooshed' compared to upper layers) (or
change your z-offset slightly).

Extruder head is likely not close enough to the platform.  Try relevelling
with a smaller clearance.

If you go the z-offset route, use really small increments when adjusting
it.  E.g., 0.05 mm.  Go too far in the wrong direction and you will gouge
the nice acrylic platform.  (This is why I tend to recommend releveling.)

I had the same problem even after re-leveling. Aquanet spray solved it for
me.
