Interior Lighting?

I have seen a bunch of Makerbots online that have interior lighting,
and am wondering if anyone can point me the the best resources for
planning/doing that myself. I am getting ready to do the case
assembly, and it seems like a good time to put in interior lighting.

I thought that maybe using the kind of PC-power supply-driven LEDs
that casemodders like might be a solution, but they all seem pretty
bulky... any suggestions or help would be welcome!

I plan on printing out some LED holders that will clip onto the side
panels. I just havent gotten around to actually designing them yet!
After that I will power them from a Molex connection. I was thinking
of using one of the spare controllers from the extruder to control the
lights with an M-Code. Or you could just do it from a molex connector.

we're also working on a LED strip board which will be a nice little kit that has 12 leds on it and powered off your existing power supply :)

just got the ship notice on the v1.1 prototypes.  white soldermask with black silkscreen AND mounting holes.  forgot those on the v1.0, heh.
