I'm very new to this and would like a bit of advice about a problem
I'm experiencing.
At the moment I'm playing around with the Makerbot electronics.
My hardware is as follows
Arduino Meda 2560
Makerbot Motherboard V2.4
Makerbot stepper drivers V3.3
I have 3 steppers which I think are about Nema 17
All my components are just layed out on the benchtop at the moment.
I'm running the latest version of ReplicatorG and have told it that
I've got a cupcake maker.
My problem is that when I go to the control pannel to test my steppers
all my axis seam to work, BUT every so often I'll click on an axis
(which will work correctly) and one of the other axis will start
opperating at random. Some times they go forward or backwards or even
just going a step forward and backward. :(
The lights on the bad stepper driver do not blink like the correct
stepper.
Any suggestions on isolating this problem?
Thanks in advance!
I am having a similar problem on my Gen4 cupcake, it was happening a little bit before 3.1, but when I upgraded, it got a ton worse...
