Z axis stepper board not working

I just starting testing out my MakerBot, and the stepper controller
for the z axis doesn't seem to work. I can control the z axis motor
using one of the other boards, and I tried different cable as well.
The power LED is one, but none of the signal LEDs light up. Any
suggestions other than getting a new board?
