Hello,

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we are having a web performance meetup in Boston on January 18th that will be focusing on optimizing server side performance. So far our meetups have dealt mainly with the front-end, so if you were waiting for a technical, architecture oriented talk then now is the time to join! Free pizza will be be provided, so you won't have to worry about finding dinner. See the link below for all of the details.

Philip beat me to it - London Meetup was recently organized by Steve Thair so you can contact him if you need more info or just join them for their next session:
