wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a heron rookery around cumberland or androscoggin counties? Thanks

Hi Chris, contact Danielle D'Auria at Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife. She coordinates Project HERON (Heron Observation Network of Maine). If you've got the time and the interest, you can volunteer to adopt one or more colonies to monitor. I've been a monitor ever since 2009, when Maine IF&W kicked off this initiative!
