We saw an American Woodcock fly along Route 1 this morning as we drove through Jonesboro - about a quarter mile east of the Wyman Office. The bird was directly in front of our car - we pulled over when it flew into the woods but the bird came back out over the highway and circled around our car. Nice!! A small sign of spring....
