Tuesday morning--a flock of robins in the apple tree amidst the snow in the morning light--
a flicker on the suet--
On Wednesday. I looked out to see a crow's wings spread flat on the snow with a hawk on its back--fierce profile--when it flew, I saw the red tail--it left the outspread black feathers--
