On the way back from Needham MA, to Cape Neddick ME on Sunday, my kids and their wives and I had a contest.Count the Red Tailed Hawks along 95. Totals: 3 flying, and 29 on Trees!

While driving down to Massachusetts for my son’s hockey tournament, we made it a collaborative effort.
We counted 28 in total (I had a migraine on the way back which lowered the return count).
We also had 2 TUVU in Maine and a Merlin in Massachusetts as well.
On the way down just over the line into Mass we had a pair of Red Tails on neighboring trees looking in opposite directions.
I will chalk that up to a spring dating fail. 😊
