Brown Thrasher - continuing

Teed up in first fruit tree at the corner of the parking lot along Spring Street behind building at corner of spring and union streets. Rob Speirs... cumberland

Still there as of 3:30. It was in the third to the last tree towards Brian Boru on the south side of the street. Initial movement I noted was actually a house finch and the thrasher surprised me coming out of hiding. They both flew to a tree on the meridian of Spring Street, and then over to some of the shrubs lower down on the north side of the street. It disappeared under a bush where I was able to coax out a white throated sparrow and a northern mockingbird. The thrasher lived up to its name when it started kicking the leaf litter out from under the shrub and it emerged for a photo shoot. Will post pictures later, but a great spot. Thanks everyone for keeping this on the collective radar!
