AppleScript for new window placement

Can anyone help with an applescript for placing a new message window
in the middle of a screen?

For some reason Mailsmith has decided to open every new message window
at the far left and the full length of my screen. I cannot find the
command to put it back to where it used to be.

Well, I can answer my own question:

tell application "Mailsmith"
set bounds of front window to {867, 404, 1671, 1123}
end tell

and I have added this line to my stationery scripts.

(slowly learning AppleScript... but still wondering why Mailsmith
changed the window position)

Window -> Save Default Window

Used to be that if you open a window, move it, close, it remembered where it was as the default. But I am a lurker as IMAP is unavoidable in my work so perhaps it has changed?
