under which I have several sub-email addresses, for example
nurk88...@btinternet.com
nurk88...@btinternet.com
nurk88...@btinternet.com
nurk8...@btinternet.com
Each of these addresses has a separate account in Mailsmith and
has the above individual addresses filled in in the "Reply
address:" field under the "Sending" tab.
However, if I reply to an email sent to (for example) nurk88...@btinternet.com
instead of using this as the from: address it uses nurk88...@btinternet.com.
This is very annoying as I am not used to double checking the
from: field. It also causes much confusion to the person I am
sending the email as the amazon address is not on their email
list, and cannot be threaded back to the original email. Also I
do not want the addressee to know any of my other account names.
When I reply to an email, why doesn't Mailsmith use the "Reply
Address:" in the Mailsmith account name when the account is a
sub account with my ISP?
Eudora did not have this problem.
