4.7.1 errors

I'm running 4.8 and I'm finding I can't send or receive reasonably large messages. Small ones work fine, but any more than a couple of attached images and they get bounced with a 4.7.1 error. This one is from yahoo:

> Remote host said: 451 4.7.1 Service unavailable - try again later
> I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

In the logs I have lots of entries like this:

Mar 30 19:33:37 mail postfix/cleanup[7473]: 9BEF244322E: milter-reject: END-OF-MESSAGE from omp1036.mail.ird.yahoo.com[212.82.109.129]: 4.7.1 Service unavailable - try again later; from=<x...@yahoo.fr> to=<mar...@example.com> proto=SMTP helo=<omp1036.mail.ird.yahoo.com>

Any idea what's causing this?

Hi Marcus,

I have not seen this in mailserv yet. It could be related with a timeout.  Is not there  slower speed of connection which could have impact to receiving mails with bigger attachments? try to add for a test this row:
    milter_content_timeout = 420s
to /etc/postfix/main.cf and restart postfix.

milter_connect_macros = j {daemon_name} v _
milter_content_timeout = 420s
milter_header_checks = pcre:/etc/postfix/milter_header_checks
