I've noticed a few problems with CSV import in MailPress 5.0:

1. Imported users always get added to the default Newsletter, which
isn't what I want. There is a checkbox to enable existing users to be
added to the default newsletter, but no way to stop new users being
added. I suggest adding a "Add new users to default Newsletter" box in
addition to the current checkbox.

2. When importing new users to a mailing list, they also get added to
the "Uncategorised" mailing list. I think a user should only end up on
"Uncategorised" when they aren't on any other mailing list.
Internally, "Uncategorised" treated as a special list in the database;
I'm not sure this is a good idea.

3. The importer recognises a column headed "email" automatically, but
not one headed "name"

4. Successful is misspelt "Successfull" at the end of the import.

I just noticed a security problem with CSV import too:

5. The uploaded CSV file is left in a publicly accessible directory
with an easily guessable name.

Any chance of posting a patch to fix #2? I want to import a large
number of addresses to my mailing list. I can work around #1 by
disabling the default newsletter before the import, but I don't want
to have to remove everyone from "Uncategorised" manually.

Thanks,
Graham

MailPress 5.0.1 added an "Add default subscription" Newsletter
checkbox to the CSV import, but unless you check "Delete all
subscriptions" the imported users still get added to the default
newsletter even without "Add default subscription" selected. This is a
step in the right direction, but still doesn't seem quite right.
