It might be more sensible to use the binaries from the
project website itself. For this particular package,
this would be
http://sourceforge.net/projects/net-snmp/files/net-snmp%20binaries/5.5-binaries/net-snmp-5.5.0-1.x86.exe/download

In general, the web page
http://www.net-snmp.org/download.html
has links to the most current versions on each line.
