There's a typo (extra ".") in the link above. For 5.4.x, try:

http://net-snmp.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/net-snmp/branches/V5-4-patches/net-snmp/CHANGES

(similar for the other branches).

This list is a *very* low-traffic list, and is only used for the announcement
of new releases. This will typically happen three or four times a year.
It does not track general development activity.

The last such message was in September (announcing v5.5)
and the previous one in June (announcing 5.3.3).

These announcements come from the release manager
(Robert Story for 5.3.3, Wes Hardaker for 5.5).
The next release announcements will probably come from me,
as I'm currently in charge of the 5.2.6 and 5.4.3 releases
(running in parallel). But that won't be until some time in 2010.
