Mac track pad
Hi, I love the program but I find one thing absolutely maddening. I'm unable to turn off the track pad zoom function my mac has in either Openoffice or in my preferences. If this could be dealt with in future incarnations of Openoffice I think it would make myself and other mac users incredibly happy.... more »

Windows OO won't open file format that Ubuntu OO will.
Very Odd. Open Office 3.1.1 installed on Windows 7 has no importer for MS Works document. Open Office 3.1 bundled with Ubuntu 9.10 HAS. Why the difference? (It's a bit irritating to say the least!) ------------------------------ ------------------------------ --------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: discuss-unsubscr...@openoffice .org... more »

OpenOffice is 99% open
OpenOffice is already 99% open, almost perfect with MS formats. It does a really good job at interoperability. There is no need to debate it - we know OpenOffice can handle MS formats, because it does such a great job already. My tests with V3.2 show nearly perfect compatibility. They key point I'm trying to highlight is that 99% is not enough to reach... more »
