Can't Uninstall Open Office 3.0

I don't know if this is the correct newsgroup to post this question
(and would appreciate knowing where I should post, if this one is
wrong).

I installed Open Office 3.0, and then 3.1. Because 3.0 didn't
uninstall, I tried to uninstall it. I couldn't. So I uninstalled--or
believed I had uninstalled--3.1, in order to uninstall 3.0 (an error
message led me to believe I couldn't uninstall 3.0 without first
uninstalling 3.1).

When I uninstalled 3.1-- Nothing happened. The "uninstall complete/
finished" window appeared, but the program was still on my hard drive.

I only wanted to get rid of redundant software; I want to keep 3.1. If
anyone could tell me how to uninstall 3.0 without uninstalling 3.1
(although it's sort of troubling that the 3.1 uninstall didn't work),
I'd appreciate knowing.
