Attachments

Is there a way to add an user-specific attachment to a campaign?
Example: I want to send some of my customers an invoice payment
reminder. I can select the group of customers I want to address by
using on of the fields that I have filled. But I also want to attach a
copy of his/her unpaid invoice as a pdf to the email he/her will
receive.

Attachments aren't supported for a variety of reasons. Here's a blog

If you follow through on your case, you'd probably want to link to
something you host locally using a url in a merge field.
