Hello,

I am new to MailChimp API and built a function last week in Classic
ASP that uses the MailChimp API listSubscribe method. Well I went
into my account and created my API key and my function worked great.
Four days later my API key turned "disabled" and my API call stopped
working. I work with many brands within my company and can't take
time every four days to make sure the API key is re-enabled.

So my question is how do I get a permanent API key?

Thanks,
ManaMath

Our API Keys won't expire on their own. More than likely a user with
access to your account found it and disabled it. A less likely
scenario is that your account was flagged by our compliance team and
they disabled the key, but I have yet to see them turn off an API Key
instead of the full account. Had that been the case, you also would
have received emails notifying you of any problems.
