generating profile editor link

Hi,

is there a way to generate profile editor link on our side? I can make
that it appears in the email that is going out via mailchimp but how
can I direct users straight from my website? Is there any method to
create this hash for profile editors? Or is this just a temporary
link?

It's not temporary, it can be generated very similar to this:
http://www.mailchimp.com/api/examples/forward-to-a-friend.php

Except of course using this link:
http://list-manage.com/profile?u=[UID]&id=[LID]&e=[EID]

One thing to note, though - the EID is unique to the *email address*,
not to the subscriber, so it can change.
