Subject: Finding a Domain

A friend in Japan gave me her e-mail address on the telephone. The domain
was linkclue.or.jp. I sent her an e-mail to that address, and it bounced
back, no such domain.

I might have misunderstood her on the phone. Anyone know of this Internet
provider, Linkclue, and how to write the domain correctly?

Is there a list of e-mail domains somewhere, so I can look it up, and see if
I misspelled it by one character or something?

Based on a SOA query, linkclue.or.jp doesn't exist. You can look for
"misspellings" at <URL:http://whois.nic.ad.jp/cgi-bin/whois_gw>.

Follow-ups narrowed.

There are quite a few or.jp domains.  One that I found that is close to what you are looking
for is linkclub.or.jp
