Wedding Dress question

I was just playing... and I noticed something strange when it came up.
The Wedding Dress doesn't let you return to being a maid in the same
session... but according to the rules at the start of the Costumes
section, if you don't return to being a maid before the end of the
session, you're no longer available as a Maid character -- which I've
always taken to mean that your character is removed from the game as a
PC. Does that mean that using the Wedding Dress automatically removes
your character from the game after the session? And if so, is this
intentional?

If the dress specifically states it lasts for the whole session, then
I guess it protects from "game removing".
And technically, a Maid with this dress would start the next session
as a "Bride character", not a Maid character.
