We've been working with Wayne Seguin on making MagLev work with RVM
(Ruby Version Manager). See http://rvm.beginrescueend.com/ for details
on RVM. It's well underway, but still somewhat experimental at
present.

As part of those changes we've revised some directory and file names.
We've already uploaded a new installer to http://groups.google.com/group/maglev-discussion/files,
and modified install.sh and upgrade.sh on GitHub in http://github.com/MagLev/maglev

The new installers work with MagLev 22683 and above, but will not work
with earlier versions. I plan to remove all versions prior to 22683
from the download site later this week.

Details:
- downloaded files are in .tar.gz format rather than .zip
- top level directory names for the .tar.gz downloads are manufactured
from "uname -sm", e.g. MagLev-22683.MacOSX becomes MagLev-22683.Darwin-
i386 and GemStone-22603.Linux becomes GemStone-22683.Linux-x86_64.
- You do not need to modify the name of your git clone. Simply running
update.sh will grab the renamed GemStone tree.
