Some range colors not changeable

I've extended the number of ranges in my legend to seven.  But I can't seem to adjust the color for the second and sixth.  Typically, I can simply click on the square and it pulls up the color wheel.  However, these problem squares are larger and don't have the shading around them indicating that they're clickable.  They seem to be fixed on the color of the third and seventh.  Am I missing something?

Looks like the in between colors are graded automatically.  They're not fixed, as I thought.  But I still can't seem to adjust the new ranges beyond zeroes...
