How do I create a legend, scale bar, north arrow, etc.

Good afternoon all. Well, I bought a licence for this app so I could do some quick & dirty presentation maps that nevertheless look nice. And I have to say I am pleased with I see so far. However, I must be missing something. I cannot figure out how to put in a legend, or a scale bar or a north arrow.

Is it just me or are those features hard to find, or maybe just not implemented yet?

I am finding that when I am moving labels around (via Edit Text), the label seems to "stick" at first, and then it jumps out farther away than I wanted. If I try to nudge it closer to the element I am labelling, it jumps back to the element itself once again. No way to set tolerances or distances.

One feature I'd like to see is an ability to add a custom projection. As it happens, I use 2 of the 4 built-in projections, but there are others I use that would be handy to have available.

Another feature that would be nice is an ability to import and place a non-georeferenced image somewhere on the map. For example, clients often like to see their organization's logo on the page.

Okay, all for now. At the moment, still playing with it, liking it, but missing that legend/NArrow/scalebar feature.

These features have not been implemented yet.

Interesting; thanks for letting me know about this. I'll see if I can
make this a little less sticky.

Which projections would you like to see in particular?

Okay, projections I'd like to see include NAD 83, which is very close to WGS84. Looking forward to seeing the legend, scale abr, and north arrow additions, as well as maybe some ability to manually place small text boxes. Also to have some of the printout page (e.g., 8.5 x 11" or tabloid) able to be kept clear for the aforesaid legend, text boxes, etc.
