Hello,

Magento Commerce Advanced search is very slow. (100,000 products, 20
seconds)

Seeking a solution to be 1-2 seconds of search time.

Here is an example, but it will not be developed:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/PremierWeb/extension/922/premierweb-sphinx-enterprise-search

Thank You
Ferenc

Isnt that where SOLR starts to become very handy?

http://code.google.com/p/magento-solr/

Open source, server level search support. Take a look and see if it can
apply to what you are doing.

Hi Damian,

I prefer
sphinxsearch,

I tried the demo but it does not work

Hi Ferenc,

sphinxsearch doesn't make the same ;-)
In the Demo is only the normal search activated, sorry for this.

Guys, I'm really sorry about this spam, was under impression I'm
sending directly to someone... Won't happen again.
