how to convert paid extension to free

Hello there,

I am trying to convert my paid extension to free and I think it is impossible due to a bug, see here:

I simply cant save extension due to extension key error:

Any idea how to solve this?

It looks like you have spaces in your extension key.

Damian, ok, I have triend to contact @monocat and now awaiting
response, thanks for tip.

Adam, yes, there are spaces in extensiom key, thats written in the JS
message :) ... but the problem is thta I cant change the value, since
the field is disabled

Why not just repackage as a new extension - upload new extension and disable the current paid one.?

Adam, yes, thats possible, but his way I loose all back links and all
reviews. Thats not good solution.

Understand. But while waiting for a solution you could package it up as a new one in any case and link to it from the current one that you have until the original problem is sorted. Just a thought.
