Added product to cart not showing on related products

Hi folks!

I have a magento online store using on product page the function of
related product .

Problem

When I select Product X, Once on the cart page if I select ‘Continue
shopping’ it takes me back to the home page. Then if I go back to the
Category X range and select Product Y from the related products It no
longer displays the thumb for Product X because I have already added
that Product X to the cart.

What I want is: if you have added a product to cart then the thumb on
related products should not stop showing, it should always display.

Someone had been is this situation or have a solution for it, please
