*Endorsement of RATAN JHA as an emissary*

*Press Release*

LONDON, 22 SEPTEMBER 2009 – It is our pleasure to bring to your kind
attention that Association of Nepali Madhesis in the United Kingdom (ANMUK)
at its executive meeting on 19-09-2009 has decided to formally support the
candidacy of MR RATAN JHA, President of Association of Nepali Terrains in
America (ANTA) for the post of ‘Vice-President’ of NRN-International
Co-ordination Committee in the election due to be held on the 15th of Oct
2009 in Kathmandu.

ANTA and ANMUK both have been established with common objectives, including
the promotion of Madhesi culture and collaborate with other Nepalese
Organizations for common welfare of Nepalese in their respective countries.
Mr Jha’s tireless effort in promoting friendship and creating awareness of
Nepalese and Madheshi causes among Nepalese and International communities
has been highly recognised, resulting in bipartisan support for his sole
candidacy from North America.

May we also take this opportunity to elucidate that this support is entirely
based on his qualifications for the post and jointly push forward a
candidate to represent us at an international level within the perspectives
of NRNA-ICC.

ANMUK would be gladly taking campaigns to collect support for Mr Jha from
different Nepalese Organizations in the UK. We, hereby, request all members
and friends of ANMUK to prop up Mr Jha.

Last but not the least, we wish him and others all the best.

Sincerely Yours

Bhagya Narayan Ray
