Due to a very unusual confluence of events -- a couple of failed searches, and the IT impacts of federal policy changes in some of our business areas -- the Graduate School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison now has four open .NET software development positions.  For three of them, the application deadlines are first thing next week.

Qualified candidates are *encouraged* to apply for more than one position.  Briefly, the positions are:

1) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_071960.html (TWO positions - .NET Software Developers, deadline 12/5)
2) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_072148.html (Software Developer - .NET and Perl, deadline: 12/6)
3) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_072284.html (Team Lead of http://arrow.wisc.edu/)

A few details about each position are listed at the very bottom of this email.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Mark Field

General Comment:  Salaries will be very competitive with similar positions in the Madison market.

1) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_071960.html -- TWO positions

These 2 software engineering positions will be working on a variety of mission-critical IT projects as part of a team.  Ideal candidates will have multiple years of .NET development experience.  Leadership opportunities abound. Deadline: 12/5

2) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_072148.html

This Perl and .NET position is intended to be a junior to intermediate position.  Deadline: 12/6

3) http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_072284.html

This position will be the team lead of the campus' enterprise ARROW platform (http://arrow.wisc.edu).  Currently there are two developers on this team.  This leadership position will be the third team member.  40% of the position is expected to be project management, team leadership, and communication with all levels of stakeholders.  Roughly half of the position is expected to be highly technical software engineering.  Deadline: 12/21
