Maybe not the best RoR host, but for the price:
Host - http://www.dreamhost.com/
Code - INCOMPLETE

Put in the coupon code for the rate of $19/year. If you check it out,
let us all know.

Also, I'm going to Railsconf. :)

Dreamhost is actually hosting the madrails wiki. I wouldn't try to
host any real "business" apps there, but its fine for a blog or a
wiki.

I'll have to make it to one of these to meet other Rails developers
in Madison.

I'm going. Anyone have a recommendation for a hotel since the
conference recommended one seems have filled up before registration
even opened?

Count me on the code and coffee.

We'll have a new baby around the time of RailsConf, so I won't be able
to go.

Hey. I know a few of us from DiDGU (didgu.com -- local Rails start-up)
are coming to code n coffee tonight, so we'll see you there. Also, I'm
heading to RailsConf ... and I even got a spot at the Double Tree ...
fancy that.

Brandon.

Is anyone else staying at Jupiter? I got in with the hackfest thing,
so I guess I'm staying there...

maybe we should try and coordinate flights?

Do you mind sharing how much you paid/what service you went thru?

Sure, no problem. I searched quite a bit for the best price. I ended
up with Orbitz and I bought the flight and hotel and the same time
because it saved quite a bit. I ended up paying $755.40 for the flight
and 5 nights at the Double Tree (single queen bed). I am taking a red
eye flight back on Sunday night (leaving 11:30pm and arriving at
7:30am), so that lowered the price of the flight by a little bit.

Wow, that's a damn good price. I'm at the Red Lion which seems like a
decent place. The only Sunday flights I could find that wouldn't have
left at 11:30pm and arrived in Madison more than 12 hours later
(apparently by falling into a worm hole for a few hours) would have
forced me to skip pretty much all of the day's activities, so I am
staying over Sunday night and flying out at 7am Monday morning.

Yeah ... back conf room ... I'm the only guy here.
Fun fact of the night, it smells a bit like cat piss in here.

Cheers,
