Hello I use an app called Oliaria. its a daisy reader app for the mac.
its very accessible and I have personally read several book share
books with it. my favorite was the steve jobs bio. you can either read
with the vo voice and cursor or use the audio functions and use the
system voice to read it. thanks

I would think you could open the .xml file in Safari, not sure how easy navigation would be though.

Maria, you can also get a free file extractor called the unarchiver. Download and install it, then when you download a bookshare Daity title, you open the unarchiver, put in your bookshare password, and it extracts the file just as on a PC. You can then read the book in Safari or other preferred web browsers which otherwise work with VO.

I've never used anything except the unarchiver snd Safari, so I don't know of the app you mention has an extraction feature built in.

No don't need the unarchiver. Just VO space on your  book and enter  your Bookshare  password and it will unzip it. Then open it with Olearia.
