No Audio for Linux Flash Player 7

Hi all,

I have just downloaded and installed the Linux Flash Player and I've run into
a slight hitch. The player tries to use /dev/dsp for all audio output... which
isn't created when using the ALSA drivers which are the default drivers for a
2.6.x series kernel.

Any thoughts?

Install your distro's alsa-oss package. This supplies a wrapper script that sorts out the sound devices.
For example you would run Firefox as :
aoss firefox &

ye I simply went to rpm.pbone.net searched for alsa-oss and sound an rpm for my version of Linux suse and installed it easy
