I am trying to use the Selection object to read a selection, take it apart,
and put it back together with additional pieces. I built it on my Mac and
everything was working perfectly, when I tested it on the PC I couldn't
select more than one word in the field I want to select in. Has anyone else
experience this bug? Or does anyone know what code I should be using to be
able to select more than one word in a Input text field?

Mike,

I can't think of any major problems with the Selection object. Perhaps you
could explain the problem you are experiencing....

Peter,

Here is what is happening, I have an input text field which will be where
the user inserts an article. When I am testing it out I start selecting a
section of text and it will jump and only select the last word I was trying
to select.

Here is a link for you to test it out on.

Michael,

It seems to work fine to me. I don't know what could be causing the problem
on your computer. (I'm using a PC)

Peter,

I think I have tracked it down to having Real Jukebox StartCenter running.
When I exited that and messed around with selecting things, it appeared to
be working just fine then. Thanks for helping me determine that it was
something with my computer and not Flash.
