Youtube appears to be using a flash 10 plugin for displaying the
video's/music/sound.
I know the flash 10 plugin is an active x plugin, which makes all
kinds of things possible.
Now my question is:
1. Is the video codec written in flash itself ?
or
2. Is the video codec part of the flash plugin and written in native/
x86 code ?
(This would mean flash 10 has a build in video codec)
Further interesting question is:
Should the PIII 450 mhz be able to do better at video/sound playback ?
Maybe with better/faster software ?
Also maybe flash/youtube could do some detection to see what kind of
video is best to stream across... cause now sometimes it streams HD...
but that requires to much processing for the PIII ?!?
